My Background

For twenty-one years I have helped clients address their financial concerns and develop sound strategies by focusing on each individual's specific needs. With extensive experience throughout major shifts in the markets, I have dedicated my career to delivering the personalized investment planning services my clients deserve.<br/><br/>I began my career as a Financial Advisor with A.G. Edwards in Charlottesville, VA. I joined Wachovia Securities, a predecessor firm of Wells Fargo Advisors, when it acquired A.G. Edwards in 2007.<br/><br/>As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER? professional I have completed extensive training on issues including budgeting, planning for retirement, saving for education, insurance and tax planning.<br/><br/>2024-2025 Platinum Council member<br/>- The Platinum Council distinction is held by a select group of Financial Advisors within Wells Fargo Advisors as measured by business production from the previous year and professionalism.<br/><br/>2014-2015, 2018-2023 Wells Fargo Advisors Platinum Council member (new name as of 1/1/2023, previously Premier Advisor.)<br/>- The Platinum Council distinction is held by a select group of Financial Advisors within Wells Fargo Advisors as measured by one or more of the following: completion of educational components, business production from the previous year, and professionalism. Additional consideration may have included best practices and team structure.<br/><br/>I grew up in Greensboro, North Carolina and graduated from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill in 2001. Away from the office, I spend my free time with my wife, Erin, a Registered Nurse with Child Health Partnership and our two sons, Austin and Ben.
